Vetting Analyst
Job Information The Vetting Analyst is responsible for researching, validating, and collecting information about various companies applying for the use of our client’s networks and services. Develops an in-depth understanding of the actions, activities, behavior and relationships of the subject organization or individual. Uses advanced research tools and resources to uncover obscure knowledge about people and companies. Develops an evidentiary record supporting investigative results.
 Responsibilities • Verify registration data while collecting additional relevant information.
• Exercise awareness and recognize suspect behavioral patterns.
• Form logical case hypotheses and validate using investigative resources.
• Summarize, interpret and apply legal documents.
• Effectively communicate the essential elements and relationships of a case.
• Recognize and discover innovative forms and indicators of undesirable, unethical and criminal behavior in relation to a range of business engagements.
• Recognize and discover the possible range of relationships between individuals and businesses.
• Adapt quickly to changing job requirements, responsibilities and learning opportunities.
 • High school diploma.
o College education is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must pass background check consisting of:
o Criminal history check:
 No criminal or misdemeanor conviction, outstanding warrant, pending charge or presence on US Government Specially Designated National or export denial list.
 Exceptions for minor traffic violations, legally expunged charges or misdemeanor under the age of 21.
o Drug test:
 No confirmed positive drug test permitted.
o Education verification.
o Employment history verification.
o Social Security Number verification.
o Legal right to work verification
 • Proficiency in internet research.
• Strong organizational skills.
• High capacity for multitasking.
• Experience in performing background investigations.
• Experience using resources such as Lexis Nexus, Thomson Reuters and Dun & Bradstreet.
• Experience working effectively in a close team environment.
• Understanding of website registry and domain registration concepts.
• Understanding of business structures.
• Understanding of business law and regulations
